Paul Reeves studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Rudolf Piernay. There then followed a year at the National Opera Studio sponsored by The Richard Lewis Award (Glyndebourne), The Sybil Tutton Trust and The John Wates Trust. He has won prizes for recitals from: The Tillet Trust, Mary Datchelor Trust, The Countess of Munster, National Mozart Competition and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

He sings regularly in concert, including the World Première of The Water Diviner’s Tale (Rachel Portman) for the BBC Proms, 2007 and his current engagements include Dikoj Katya Kabanova for Scottish Opera On Tour, Angelotti Tosca and Ribbing Un ballo in maschera for Opera Holland Park, Don Basilio Il barbiere di Siviglia for Welsh National Opera, Abimelech Samson et Dalila and Sparafucile Rigoletto for Anna Livia International Opera Festival, Dublin, Mother The Seven Deadly Sins for the Royal Opera House, London, Mr Olsen Street Scene for the Opéra de Toulon, Beethoven Choral Symphony for Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra, Mozart Requiem with the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Verdi Requiem for The Really Big Chorus at London’s Royal Albert Hall. His recordings include The Shops, now available on NMC CD.
